Individual, Couple, Group Therapy, and Family Counseling
The Growth Opportunity Center provides a full range of counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults that cover a wide variety of issues and concerns facing individuals, couples, and families in their everyday life. These include anxiety, depression, marital conflict, family problems, sexual dysfunction, social difficulties, childhood problems, underachievement, adolescent issues, addictions, faith issues, loneliness, and loss of purpose.

Many of our clients are helped through specialized programs that use the most current knowledge and progressive techniques for specific difficulties such as phobias, learning disabilities, ADHD, behavioral problems at school or home, chronic illness, pain and stress, problems in the workplace, grief and loss, trauma caused by divorce, and problems surrounding the aging process.

Over 60 providers service our client population. Currently, the Center has documented over 3,900 sessions per month in our three locations.

Bereavement Support Groups
The Growth Opportunity Center offers Bereavement Support Groups for adults who have experienced the loss of a spouse, parent, child, or other significant person. This group provides a supportive environment to talk about the many feelings, fears, and frustrations of the grieving process. Led by Nancy Stein, LCSW, the meetings are held for 8 weeks. Topics include defining grief and mourning, the many faces of grief, strategies for reconciling grief, expectations of self and others, self-care during difficult times, and planning for holidays and anniversaries.
