Mary C. Coakley, PhD Clinical-Developmental Psychology
My main interest is in working with young children who are experiencing behavioral or emotional problems at home and/or at school. I provide psychological evaluation, as well as family/individual therapy, for children up to 12 years of age. I use an eclectic approach with a heavy emphasis on family therapy, but also cognitive-behavioral techniques. Over the past few years, I have become increasingly involved with working with children on the Autism Spectrum, especially those with Asperger’s Disorder. I am on the Autism Spectrum Service’s team here at GOC offering social skills group therapy and individual/family consultation.
