Lawrence J. Tonetti, MA, LPC
I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I expect to complete my doctoral training in Clinical Psychology in 2010. I have been working in the field of mental health in various capacities for 12 years. The majority of my experience has been with families, individual adults, and college students. In working with children and families, I tend to utilize a family systems approach to therapy, which focuses on changing the systemic patterns of interaction that have developed between the various members of the family (i.e., changing the system), rather than focusing treatment on one individual member of the family. In my current position as a therapist at the Growth Opportunity Center, I work with families, individual adults, and adolescents.
