Laura Favin, LCSW
Laura Favin holds Licenses in Clinical Social Work in both PA and NY and a License in Psychoanalysis in NY. She received her Masters in Social Work from New York University, her Masters in Psychoanalysis from The Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic training from the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies in NYC.

Laura travels back and forth each week between NY and PA, offering treatment for individuals, couples, children, families, and groups. One of her specialties is work with new mothers, fathers and their families. She likes to think of her work as focused on the fourth trimester, helping her clients through the birthing process into new parenthood and family life. As a teacher she worked in early education. In PA, she is happy to be on the board of the Pennsylvania Society of Clinical Social Work as Legislative Chair and is looking forward to stepping into the role of President in July of 2011.
